Privacy

Your case is not our raw material.

The short version

Prepiska does not ask for your Ministry tracker PIN, government password, personal identification number, passport number or full case number. Do not put them into a note, question or screenshot.

My case

The private case profile—including exact dates, optional nationality and residence—uses your browser’s local storage. It is not uploaded by the case dashboard. A cohort comparison sends only coarse matching fields: legal basis, anchor year, filing country and filing channel.

Movement reports

If you deliberately report a status change, the public record can include the old and new stage, observed date, legal basis, interview and file-formation month, filing channel, country, office, a short redacted note and an evidence label. Reports are moderated before publication.

A random case token is kept in your browser. The server stores only one-way hashes of that token for duplicate control and to link multiple changes from the same anonymous case. The hash is never shown publicly.

Community questions and answers

Public posts contain the text and alias you choose, plus the cohort metadata shown before submission. A private management key is kept in your browser; the server stores its one-way hash. Votes and abuse controls use pseudonymous browser or short-lived connection hashes, not public identities.

Operational data

The site runs on OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and security systems can process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested path and timestamps. Prepiska uses short-lived one-way connection hashes for rate limits; it does not publish them. Optional product telemetry is not collected unless a separate consent control explicitly says so.

Retention and control

Public contributions and their private management records are scheduled for removal after 36 months of inactivity. Abuse flags are retained for up to 24 months. You can delete community posts and movement reports using the management keys stored by the browser. Clearing browser storage can remove those local keys, so manage a contribution before clearing this site’s data.

What an evidence label means

“Self-reported,” “secondhand,” “unverified” and “disputed” describe provenance, not a person’s honesty. “Official” and “document verified” cannot be selected by a public submitter; they require a separate review process.

Contact and changes

The public pilot does not yet collect email addresses or operate user accounts. A named data controller and contact channel must be added before broader launch, evidence uploads, email alerts, payments or professional listings. This page will be versioned when those features are introduced.
