Bulgarian origin · Article 15

Build a document chain to a Bulgarian-origin parent, grandparent or great-grandparent. The Tirana guidance lists the supporting categories.

Bulgarian parent

A Bulgarian parent can point to a different legal basis and evidence set. Do not assume the origin-route checklist is identical.

Residence, marriage or another basis

These routes have their own conditions. Filing in Albania does not itself create eligibility.

For an Article 15 origin case, the current official Tirana guidance asks for records connecting the applicant to a Bulgarian-origin parent, grandparent or great-grandparent, plus civil-status, criminal, medical, legalisation and Bulgarian-translation documents. Personal filing and interview remain part of the process.

Reconcile every spelling

Create one table for Albanian, Latin, Cyrillic and Bulgarian forms of names and places before translation.
